Abstract

As influenced y the traditional educational concepts and some other factors, humanistic education of the students in colleges and universities has received insufficient attention in China. Under the present conditions of information society and market-oriented economy, humanistic education is becoming increasingly important in talent-training. It seems urgent that colleges pay enough attention on this work. This paper discusses the necessity, approaches and methods of strengthening humanistic education in institutions of higher learning in China.
