On Erotic Poems of HAN Wo

Abstract
HAN Wo,a poet with high moral integrity, unimaginably composed Xiang Lian Ji, which is considered as the first collection of erotic poetry in Chinese poetry history. Studies of both the text and historical materials indicate that Xiang Lian Ji involves amorous poems, poems about the poet’s solitary and depressed state of mind which have nothing to do with poetic poetry, as well as poems between erotic poems and non-erotic poems.
