Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical value of coagulation test used in the parturient women. Methods157 cases of healthy parturient women( labor 38 weeks later) were selected from January to December in 2010 in the maternity clinic department as the experimental group while 108 cases of non-pregnant women over the same period were chosen as the control group. The prothrombin time( PT),activated partial thromboplastin time( APTT),fibrinogen( Fib) and prothrombin time( TT) were detected by automatic coagulation analyzer, and compared with each other. Results PT and APTT in the experimental group were significantly shorter than that in the control group( PT: 10. 8 ± 1. 4 /11. 9 ± 1. 3,P 0. 05; APTT: 32. 8 ± 3. 6 /30. 4 ± 1. 9,P 0. 05). Fib significantly increased( 4. 3 ± 0. 23 /2. 8 ± 0. 53,P 0. 01). There were no significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion Coagulation ability, fibrinolytic and activity anti-clotting components in the blood of parturient women change significantly, with blood coagulation improving. So prenatal examination of each index of blood coagulation is helpful to identify potential danger of obstetrics.
