Abstract
The counterpart volume ratio might have great influence on the tribological characteristics due to interfering of friction heat in dry sliding processes. The experimental results indicate that the counterpart volume ratio affects not only the friction coefficient, but the wear behavior. At last, authors give attention to the relationship between the sliding surface topographical characteristics and the tribological properties.
