Investigation of Wild Compositae Medicinal Plant Resources in Dabie Shan District of Hubei Province

Abstract
The common wild Compositae medicinal plant resources in Dabie Shan District of Hubei Province were investigated and 20 species of medicinal plants were reported including their general clinical uses,general resources situation and the latest 10 years research progress.The survey shows that Polygonum aviculare L.,Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.,Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb.Et Zucc.,Polygonum multiflorum Thunb.and Rheum officinale Baill.were extremely rich;It is necessary that strengthening comparative study of the quality of relatives of medicinal plants,protecting wild highly quality resources of the Chinese medicinal materials and focus on development and application of wild Chinese medicine materials.
