Investigation of Medical Plants Resources in Yingshan County of Hubei Province

Abstract
The local wild medicinal plants resources were investigated and their families and relationships according to the primary morphological characteristics were determined.20 species of medicinal plants were reported including their general clinical uses and new research application progress in recent five years.Results of the survey showed that Xanthium sibiricum Patr.,Polygonum orientale L.,Macleaya cordata(Willd.) R.Br,Houttuynia cordata Thunb.,Reineckea carnea(Andr.) Kunth.,Phytolacca acinosa Roxb.were extremely rich.It was necessary that strengthening comparative study of the medicinal plants,protecting wild resources of the Chinese medicine and concentrating on logical development and application of wild Chinese medicine materials.
