Strategic Thinking on the Implementation of Supply Chain Management in Chinese Enterprises

The establishment of supply chain system and the optimization of supply chain management should be treated as a strategic matter.When implementing supply chain management in Chinese enterprises seven issues should be paid attention to: the change of ideas, to give first priority to the demand of customers, the reconstruction of the process, to establish the confidence between member enterprises of a supply chain, to behave well as the leading role and to cooperate with others well as a supporting role when necessary,to clear about the strategic objectives and the tactical ones as well,to apply the information and network technologies in the implementation.In addition,when implementing supply chain management,an enterprise should learn from successful experiences of overseas enterprises, and pay a good deal of attention to the development of supply chain management theories.
