Abstract

Objective To evaluate the inter-relationship between levels of blood total cholesterol(TC),lower-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) and the severity of coronary heart disease. Methods 135 cases of coronary angiography patients divided into four groups, group A were acute coronary syndrome(ACS),angiography showed that the major blood vessels subtotal or completely blocking, blood vessels narrow in B group were 70%-90%,C group were 40%-69%,D group lesions were 40%.Results The difference of HDL-C level between group A and the rest three groups was significantly(P0.05).Four groups of patients with the differences of TC,TG,LDL-C level were not significantly(P0.05).Conclusion 1,It is not positive correlation between Cholesterol levels and the degree of coronary artery stenosis, because of the individual differences fo endothelial function.2,Reduction of HDL indicates the possibility of coronary events was significantly increased.
