Abstract
Effect of solution treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of ZA27 alloy were studied by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and mechanical property testing. After solution treatment in the temperature range of 300-380 ℃ for 1 h,the alloy samples were aged at 160 ℃ for 8 h.The results show that complete dissolution of the solute atoms in the ZA27 alloy is obtained after solution treatment at 365 ℃ and uniformly distributed fine precipitates are observed after aging treatment. The proper solution treatment parameters of the alloy are heating at 365 ℃ for 1 h.
