Study and analysis of the hand-washing effect of soap and hand sanitizer

Objective:To compare the hand-washing effect of soap and hand sanitizer,provide the basis for hospitals to select the more efficient hand-washing methods and reduce the occurrence of nosocomial infection rates.Methods:40 hospital staff were randomly divided into two groups,respectively used ordinary soap and hand sanitizer to wash hands,all used seven-step hand-washing methods.Used cotton swab smear sampling methods to detect bacterial colony number,compared two groups of hand-washing effect.Results:Pass rate of washing hands with soap was 85%,pass rate of washing hands with hand sanitizer was 95%,there was no statistical difference(χ2=0.278,P=0.292).Compared with ordinary soap,used hand sanitizer without skin allergy and dryness,the occurrence rate of the skin rough and pungent smell were lower,there were statistical differences(P0.05).There were hand skin viscous phenomenon in the using of soap and hand sanitizer,there was no statistical difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Compared with ordinary soap,the pass rate of washing hands with hand sanitizer is higher,it has many advantages.
