Comparison of different preparing cartilage tissue section

Abstract
The paraffin and frozen sections of cartilage were prepared by the treatment of n-butanol dehydration and decalcification respectively.Alcian blue,toluidine blue and Masson trichrome were used to stain the chondrocytes.The tresult showed that the improved paraffin section was better than routine paraffin section,and that the frozen section was better than the improved paraffin section.The three dyeing methods all could stain the chonrocytes specifically,and could be used in frozen section preparation of cartilage.
