Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To explore the factors of adverse drug reaction(ADR)reported in our hospital in order to reduce the incidence of ADR induced by external factors and promote rational use of drugs.METHODS:238 cases of ADR reports collected by ADR Monitoring Center in our hospital from Jan.1st,2008 to Dec.25th,2009 were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS:Of 238 ADR cases,59 cases occurred in senile patients over 60 years old(24.79%);230 ADR cases were resulted from intravenous administration(89.49%);161 ADR cases were mainly given antibiotics(62.65%).Main clinical manifestations in 167 cases were lesion of skin and its appendants(63.74%).15 ADR cases were caused by irrational use of drugs(6.30%).CONCLUSION:Great importance should be attached to ADR monitoring to promote rational use of drugs and reduce the incidence of ADR.
