Abstract

Cotton woven fabric was dyed with new developed cationic pigments. The optimum dyeing processes was determined according to single-factor and orthogonal experiments:cationic pigment 10%(omf),liquor ratio 1∶10,pH 8,dyeing at 80 ℃ for 20 min, with the addition of 10 g/L of pigment fastness improver DM-5146,holding at 40 ℃ for 20 min, then the dyed fabric was treated with softening agent silicone oil.The product displayed good color fastness.
