Abstract

The vivid conception is the aesthetic idea proposed by XIE He,artist in Southern Qi Dynasty.It is the superior standard for the Chinese painting in terms of creation and criticism and the highest goal for all the painters.The philosophical base of vivid conception is the ancient Chinese life philosophy and vitality theory.It is the aesthetic philosophy with eco-awareness.The vivid conception prefer to the natural rhythm of life and worship to the cosmic life.It is the ontology that artists try expressing and also the aesthetic spirit of Chinese arts.
