Abstract
HNO 3 oxidation method for removal of H 2C 2O 4 from H 2C 2O 4 stripping solution in TRPO process is studied. 5.5~7.5 mol·L -1 HNO 3 0.30 mol·L -1 H 2C 2O 4 mixed solution is evaporated at 90 ℃ and H 2C 2O 4 can be decomposed and removed completely. After adding catalyst MnCO 3, the mixed solution is evaporated and distillated at 100 ℃,H 2C 2O 4 can be decomposed quickly. HNO 2 resulting from HNO 3 can oxidized Np(Ⅳ)to Np(Ⅴ)and Np(Ⅵ) while 95 % of Pu in the solution is as Pu(Ⅳ).
