Measurement Of serum anti-mycobacterium tuberculosis antibody by ELISA and the clinical value

Objective To evaluate clinical value of measuring serum anti-mycobacterium tuberculosis antibody in detecting of pulmonary tuberculosis and the relevant indices of diagnostic experiment. Methods PPD from Mycobacterium tuberculosis taken as coating antigen,the antibody Of 116 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis ( thev were devided into positive bacteria group negative bacteria group and,remeasurement one afer treating)and 112 cases without pulmonary tuberculosis were measured by ELISA,to calculate the relevant indices. Results The sensitiviy was 61.20%,the specificity was95.53%,the accuracy was 78.07%, clinical indices was 156.73%,positive predictive value was 93.42%,and negative predictive value was 70.39%. The result of comparison of the rate of experiment group with that of control group was P0.005?Conclusions The measurement of serum tuberculosis antibody by ELISA was proved to be better in.sensitivity and spectticity,can be used as auxiliary clinic and has high practical value in the curative effect of pulmonary tuberculosis.
