Abstract

Objective: To analyze changes of soft tissue after the Twin-Block Appliance treatment for Class Ⅱ Division Ⅰmalocclusion.Methods: Fourteen cases of Class II Division Ⅰ malocclusion with mandibular hypoplasia in the mixed dentition or early permanent dentition were treated with the Twin-block Appliance,and the effects were evaluated with Burstone analysis before and after treatment.Results: The appearance tended to back straight,opening lips grin better.Conclusion: By the Twin-Block appliance,the profile of patients changes significantly.
