Abstract
Notch signaling pathway is a highly conserved signaling pathway which is widespread during the biological evolution and mediated communication mechanism between the cells.Notch signals are transferred among adjacent cells through Notch receptors and their ligands, which can regulate proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of many cell types including stem cells. They can also influence organ formation and morphopoiesis.Recently, numerous studies show that the Notch signaling pathway has an important role in regulating the development of cancer in breast. However, the specific expression mechanism of Notch signaling pathway is not clear, this thesis expatiate the relationship between the development of breast cancer and the expression mechanism of Notch signaling.
