Efficacy of eradication of Helicobacter pylori of chronic gastritis

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy in the treatment process of chronic gastritis.Methods Totally 99 patients with Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis diagnosed by the endoscopy,histopathological examination and Helicobacter pylori testing were divided into the study group of 49 patients and the observation group of 50 patients,and during the same period 53 cases of non-helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis as a negative control group.The study group was given a formal eradication of Helicobacter pylori triple therapy,and other groups were given the same basic treatment.Analyze the signs and symptoms,the endoscopy and histopathological examination results of each group before treatment and after 4 weeks,and at the end of 1-1.5 years follow-up.Results The severity and activity of inflammation about the study group were less serious than that of the observation group after 4 weeks behind the end of treatment(P0.05).The severity of inflammation in the study group was significantly better than that before the treatment(P0.05),and the observation group were not significantly different(P0.05).The recurrence rate of study group was lower than those of the observation group and the negative control group.Conclusion Regular treatment of Helicobacter pylori eradication in patients of Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis can improve the clinical treatment of chronic gastritis,which has a very important clinical significance.
