Abstract
With the continuous construction of city infrastructure, the subwaytrack transportation presents fastdevelopmenttendency. Due to the restriction of original urban plan,it is inevitably that the new subway tunnel will partly cross through the foundation of existed building.This paper introduces the case of shield tunnel crossing through the pile foundation ofroad bridge in Shanghai area, especially illustrates the design demands,construction scheme and main construction procedure of pile underpinning,which can be used as guidance for other similar projects in future.
