Abstract
The excess pore pressure of saturated soft clay foundation caused by pile driving has a significant effect on construction.The calculating method for the excess pore pressure and the dissipation of the excess pore pressure are discussed here,and the data calculated by the method are compared with the measured data of the excess pore pressure of saturated soft clay foundation caused by pile driving in the project of Zhoushan shipyard.The comparing results show that the calculated data are fitted with the measured data.At last,the influence on the stabilization of soft soil foundation by the construction of pipe pile is analyzed according to the measured data of excess pore pressure and horizontal displacement.
