Abstract
Under the infeluence of Ms. Sanger Margaret'visiting China, the birth control became one of the hot topics among intellectuals during the May 4th period. The advanced intellectuals deeply discussed the problems about the importance and approachs of the birth control,posed intacter ideas. The ideas not only have their historical inevitability of emerge and development, but also have undeniable historical significance in modern China.
