Abstract

As a compact community of residents,the development of community is inseparable from the residents' participation.People-oriented community participation idea sets people's basic needs and comprehensive developments as the starting point and the ultimate goal of community development.On the foundation of the analysis of the outstanding issues existing in the community participation,this paper puts forward such various solutions as enhancing the participation awareness of the community residents,accurately defining the role government play in community participation,promoting the capability of the professional community workforce,and broadening the community support networks.
