Fractal Geometry and Its Application

There are a lot of complex graphics in nature which can't be explained by European geometry,so people introduced the concept of fractal.By using the fractal geometric method,these complex graphics can be easily to know.With the continuous development and perfect of fractal geometry,fractal geometry has been successfully applied to various disciplines,and lots of research results were presented.In this article,the definition of fractal introduced was described and the application of fractal in nature,materials science,image compression technology,fractal growth,geotechnical engineering fields and the application in the oil industry were elaborated.
