Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between hemoglobin(Hb) levels and single dialysis urea clearance(Kt/V),and to improve the hemodialysis adequacy. Methods Predialysis blood tests were performed and the Kt/V was calculated in 57 maintenance hemodialysis patients with end-stage renal disease. These patients were divided into two groups according to Hb levels(Hb≥110 g·L-1 and Hb110 g·L-1).The correlation between Hb levels and Kt/V was analyzed. Results The Kt/V in Hb≥110 g·L-1 group was significantly lower than that in Hb110 g·L-1 group(1.18±0.09 vs 1.31±0.11,P0.05).Conclusion The Hb is an important factor affecting the Kt/V in maintenance hemodialysis patients.
