A Systemic Functional Text Analysis——Taking Thematic Structure as an Example

This paper carries a text analysis drawing on systemic functional tools.It researches the textual and stylistic function of thematic structure and thematic progression.By examining the findings of the analysis,it also attempts to prove that the marked features of theme enable the speaker to express different intentions in speech.
