Abstract
In distributed measurement and control system, the clock synchronization between the system and the distributed device, independent smart sensors, actuators is the key to the effectiveness of monitoring and control data.IEEE 1588 precision clock synchronization protocol can effectively solve the time synchronization problem in distributed measurement and control system, and it is also one of the core technologies of the new test system standard bus LXI.First of all,the basic principles of the IEEE 1588 clock synchronization are introduced.Later, the use of new technologies and methods of the latest released version 2.0 of IEEE 1588 are mainly analyzed, and the analysis lays a foundation for further study.
