Abstract
The precision requirement of time synchronization in modern Ethernet application become more and more strict, and the IEEE 1588 clock synchronization protocol has developed from version 1 (2002) to version 2 (2008), and it is implemented and proved in Ethernet clock synchronization field. This paper introduces the principle and networking mode of IEEE1588 clock synchronization technology, and presents the special implementation scheme and test scheme of IEEE1588 clock synchronization system node. The analysis results for experiment data prove the feasibility of the present IEEE1588 implementation scheme. The implementation of high-precision clock synchronization in Internet is studies and validated.
