The Source Rock Evaluation of Yi4 Well in Chagan Sag of Yin'e Basin

Yi 4 well is located in the Chagan sag Western concave North fault block group.Target layer is in Su 1, Ba 2 and Ba 1 section.This research takes the dark color mudstone of the Yi 4 well as the dissection object,and takes advantage of many parameters such as organic matter abundance,the type and maturity of organic matter to describe quantitively or qualitatively the hydrocarbon-generating potential characteristics of the source rock,in order to provide the basis for further exploration in Chagan sag.Results indicate that the source rock's organic matter abundance of the Bay ingebi Formation 2 is the highest,which organic types as excessive type,mainly for type I,IIA type,and lipid content is rich,but organic matter maturity is not high,without access to a large number of oil phase,belongs to the middle or good source rock.
