Abstract
Heavy metal pollution in soil is a pressing problem to be solved in the world.Compared with other methods of the remediation, the phytoremediation is a progressive one to deal with the heavy metal contaminated soil due to the less interference to the soil, the lower cost and the easier operation. In the paper,we summarized the sources of the heavy metal in the soil, the remediation mechanism of phytoremediation with the emphasis of its limits and the methods to increase the effect.Hopefully,it could provide the evidences with the further research in this field.
