Research on the Methods for Improving the Impact Factor of Academic Journals

Abstract

Five factors,including journal renown,the approach of transmitting and publishing,etc.,which may affect the impact factor of the academic journals,were analyzed.Based on the current development trend of social sciences journals and the specific conditions of several excellent social sciences journals indexed by SSCI or CSSCI,five effective measures were proposed for improving the impact factor of academic journals.
