Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effects and mechanism of exercise training exhausted on stress gastric ulcer in rats. Methods: The rats were randomly divided into sedentary control group, sedentary exhausted group, training control group and exhausted trained group. Training control group and exhaustedly trained group were trained by designed exercising load. At the end of the training, sedentary exhausted group and exhaustedly trained group were tested by one-time exhaustive exercise. The ulcer index, gastric mucosa pathological, serum nitric oxide( NO),endothelin-1( ET-1),gastric tissue superoxide dismutase( SOD) and malondialdehyde( MDA) contents were observed and measured in each group. Results:Compared with sedentary control group, the ulcer index increased, serum NO concentration and gastric tissue SOD activity decreased, and ET-1 concentration and MDA concentration increased significantly in sedentary with exhaustive group( P 0. 01); NO concentration and SOD activity were increased, and MDA content was decreased significantly in exhaustedly trained control group( P 0. 05). Compared with sedentary with exhaustive group, exhaustive time prolonged, the ulcer index decreased,NO concentration and SOD activity increased, and ET-1 concentration and MDA content decreased significantly in training with exhaustive group( P 0. 05). Compared with training control group, the ulcer index increased,NO concentration and SOD activity decreased, and ET-1 concentration and MDA content increased significantly in training with exhaustive group( P 0. 05,P 0. 01). Conclusion: Suitable exercise training can increase NO concentration and SOD activity, and decrease ET-1 and MDA contents, and reduce the occurrence of stree gastric ulcer under the exhaustive exercise.
