Abstract
Modern service industry is an organic industry which is high-tech and high value-added,and is the basis of a country's or region's industrial competitiveness.The development of modern service industry is of great significance for a country or region to enhance its industrial competitiveness.Through the analysis of competitiveness of trade in services in Guangdong province,it shows that the development of modern service industry in Guangdong is still lagging behind,low in level and weak in foundation.Therefore,today,the transformation of economic development mode has become major goals and strategic initiatives of economic reform and development,and how to increase scientific,technological and manpower inputs in order to accelerate the development of modern service industry has become an urgent research topic for Guangdong province.
