The Effects of Achievement Goal Orientation on Middle School Students' Achievement Motivation

The theory of achievement goal is one of the most important motivation theories,and it gradually becomes a hot research issue in motivation field.In recent years,the studies about the effects which achievement goal has on achievement motivation gradually become prolific,and these studies have important revelation in education area.All of these three effects: whether the students have defined their achievement goal,the type of their achievement goal and the evaluation middle school students have on their achievement goal will have important influences on their achievement motivation.The revelation achievement goal theory has in education area mainly means that the teacher should help the student to set individual achievement goals,and this will stimulate middle schools student's achievement motivation more effectively.
