Analysis of Mycoplasma Infection and Drug Sensitivity from STD Clinic

Objective To investigate mycoplasma infection and drug sensitivity in patients from STD clinic in the local area,provide the basis for clinical treatment.Methods Mycoplasma culture was carried out with the samples of 854 cases with mycoplasma kits.Results All 359 cases was mycoplasma-positive(positivity rate of 42.04%),including 274 UU-positive cases(32.08%),17 MH-positive cases(1.99%) and 68cases positive for both UU and MH(7.96%).Doxycycline and minocyclin were more effective drug against UU and MH infection.Levofloxacin and ofloxacin were less effective drug against UU and MH infection.Conclusion The urogenital mycoplasma infection results mainly from UU infection in patients from STD clinic in the local area.Doxycycline and minocyclin are the first line drugs for urogenital mycoplasma infection in the local area.
