Abstract

Objective To study condition of lipid metabolism in coronary heart disease(CHD) patients without hyperlipidemia. Methods The levels of plasma triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL C) and its subfractions(HDL 2 C,HDL 3 C) were measured by enzymology way,the levels of HDL C/TC and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL C) were calculated, and apoAⅠ,apoB 100 concentration and lipoprotein(a)[LP(a)] were determined by an enzyme linked immunoassay(ELISA)in patients with CHD( n =50)and healthy subjects( n =30)of TC6.0 mmol/L and TG2.0 mmol/L. Results The levels of plasma TG,TC and LP(a) were higher in patients than in controls( P 0.05, P 0.01 and P 0 002 5,respectively),but their HDL C,HDL 3 C and HDL C/TC concentration was significantly lower than those of controls ( P 0 05, P 0 01, P 0 002 5,respectively).The levels of apoA Ⅰ/apoB 100 had not statistical different between both. Conclusion Abnormality of lipids, lipoproteins metabolism in CHD patients without hyperlipidemia is inherent.Decreased HDL C/TC,HDL C and HDL 3 C concentration is a main risk factor, but elevated LP(a) content is not ignored. Adjusting treatment of lipids is of a very important significance.
