Operative Treatment of Gluteal Muscle Contracture

Objective To analyze the factors that affect the curative effect of operative treatment of gluteal muxcle contracture. Methods All cases were underwent operation and the scar of contracture was separated. Early exercise was taken after operation. Results Over 90% patients had obtained satisfactory curative effect after 2 years follow-up in average. 2 cases had varied reoccurrence. Conclusion The gluteal muscle contracture is the contracture of facia and muscular fiber. The symptoms of snappin and wrapping knee can be seen when sciatic flex. The operation should be performed once it is diagnosis, carefully disentwine and early exercise should be taken.
