Abstract

The Buddhism was introduced into China's interior in Han Dynasty and became an important part of Chinese culture. Qiuci Vassal State played a significant role for Buddhism's spread in China's interior. Shang County had Qiuci Vassal State in Han Dynasty. Was the Buddhism's spread in the north of Shaanxi related to it?Buddhism's spread in Qiuci Vassal State was earlier than that in China's interior. Qiuci Vassal State's people also had a deep influence on local culture in the north of Shaanxi. So,Buddhism's early spread in the north of Shaanxi certainly had close relationship with it.
