Abstract

Objective To investigate the hemorheological changes in patients with sudden deafness. Methods Hemorheological parameters were determined in 31 patients with sudden deafness and 44 cases of normal control. Result Whole blood vicosity(50s -1 ,10s -1 ,3s -1 ,1s -1 ),low shear reduction viscosity, red blood cell aggregation index and fibrinogen in patients with sudden deafness were significantly higher than those of the control group (P0.05 or P0.01). Conclusion There are hemorheological changes in patients with sudden deafness. Its clinical signification is important.
