Abstract
A new catalytic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace cobalt was developed. The method is based on the synergistic catalysis of trace amount of cobalt(Ⅱ) and EDTA on the oxidation of bromopyrogallol red by hydrogen peroxide in NH 3·H 2O NH 4Cl system. The linear range for the determination of cobalt is 0-1.3μg/mL and the detection limit is 2.6×10 -10 g/mL. The method has been applied to the determination of trace amount of cobalt in human urine, vitamin B 12 injection and lily with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
