Abstract

The study on the Chinese national spirit is an important issue in the research of Chinese history of culture and philosophy. The scholars had a wide-ranging discussion about such questions as what is national spirit,what is the meaning, connotation,core,characteristic and function of the Chinese national spirit and how to promote and carry forward it, and they put forward different viewpoints.
