Abstract

Forming and advancing in the disputation with temporary studies on Confucian classics, the traditional studies on Confucian classics in Han Dynasty spares no effort in collecting, sifting and annotating ancient documents with the priority to hermeneutics, historical literature and impartial comments,a guarantee to defend academic authority. Moreover, the traditional Confucian classics scholars in late Han Dynasty contribute to reversing the Confucian theological inclination and the academic orientation by learning from Taoism.Researches on the characteristics and methods of studies of Confucian classics indicate its inevitable role and special influence on ideological emancipation in Han Dynasty and emergence of new learning.
