Abstract
The struggle in Han Dynasty between the scholars who studied confucian classics written in modern script and those who studied Confucian written in ancient script is an inner struggle of the Confucian elassics. Their influence on literature can be studied respectively. What's more, it should be studied comprehensively. The studies of Confucian classics as a learning changing with the times were closely related with Confucianism handed down from ancient times, but at the same time also different from it. Sometimes they exerted the same influence on literature, sometimes they didn't. Therefore they should be studied both comprehensively and respectively. Although the studies of Confucian classics in Han Dynasty focused on the political and educational functions of literature, literature in Han Dynasty was not reduced to a dependency of the studies of Confucian classics.
