Abstract

The authors adopted the modified Burgers model as the constitute model of asphalt mixtures to analyze load magnitude, loading methods and the material of surface having the influence on the vertical displacement of road surface, horizontal stress of subbase bottom, shear stress within the surface and the vertical stress at the wheel track in road surface, with the finite element software. The results showed that the main factor of affecting the stress and deformation field of asphalt pavement is load; The effect of tire pressure 1.0Mpa has increased by 40%comparing to the effect of tire pressure 0.7Mpa;As the load increases, the effect will continue to increase; The main load bearing part of Asphalt concrete pavement is the structure under the base course;the influence of the type of pavement materials and mechanical parameters on the mechanical response of asphalt concrete is relatively smaller; The research can provide theoretical guidance for optimization design and mechanical analysis of asphalt pavement.
