Study of bisoprolol on chronic heart failure

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of chronic congestive heart failure(CHF) treatment with bisoprolol.Methods 68 patients with congestive heart failure were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The treatment group was treated with β-blocker,bisoprolol.The clinical efficacy,heart rate and echocardiographic parameters were observed.Results There were 44% of the patients was effective and efficient 35% in the control group.There were 64% of the patients was effective and efficiency 35% in treatment group.After the followed-up of 6-8 months,the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and E/A value of the two groups were different(P0 05).Conclusion It is effective to treat congestive heart failure with bisoprolol.
