Abstract
Objective to study the expression features of P 53 and PCNA in pulmonary adenocarcinoma and its correlation with histologic types, clinical stages and prognosis Method S P immunohistochemical staining was used in specimens of 60 cases with pulmonary adenocarcinoma Result The positive rate of expression of P 53 and PCNA was 51.7% and 81.7% respectively, positive expression of subtypes had not obvious difference positive expression rate(82.4%)of P 53 was higher in stage Ⅲ than in stage Ⅰ(33.3%)and in stage Ⅱ(45.4%) P 0.01 and P 0.05 Results of association detection of P 53 and PCNA showed higher uniformity(50.0%)and complementaity(90.0%) Conclusion Abnormal expression of P 53 is in close relationship to biologic behaviour of cancer cells and can be used to evaluate prognosis of lung cancer and demonstrate that mutative P 53 can derectly accelerate activity of PCNA
