On University Students’ Scientific and Technological Innovation Activities

In the modern society, difficulty of university graduates’ job-hunting has been a well-known fact. In addition to the objective factors such as the job market, the university students' lack of innovative ability cannot meet the requirements of the employing units. The innovative ability is cultivated through the scientific and technological innovation activities. Therefore, the university students’ scientific and technological innovation activities are of great significance. Although the university students’ scientific and technological innovation activities have made considerable gratifying results, but there are still some problems. Several aspects should be taken into account to initiate a new situation in scientific and technological innovation activities such as system construction, the establishment of competition mechanism, strengthening the team construction of the tutors and the students in scientific and technological innovation, propulsion of the laboratory opening and setting up scientific and technological innovation bases for university students, so that it can develop healthily and deeply for a long time.
