Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents of the root of Actinidia chinensis Planch. Methods The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by silica gel column chromatography and their structures were identified by physicochemical methods and spectroscopic analysis. Results Six compounds were isolated and identified as β-steriol(Ⅰ),stearyl-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅱ),daucosterol(Ⅲ),(-)-epi-catechin(Ⅳ),2α,3α,24-trihydr-oxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid(Ⅴ),n-butyl-β-D-fructopyranoside(Ⅵ) and sucrose(Ⅶ).Conclusion Compounds Ⅱ and Ⅵ were isolated from the root of Actinidia chinensis Planch.for the first time.
