Abstract

In the Book of Poetry,the usage of Yan(言) is relatively complex.Predecessors have dealt with this issue,but there are some problems.Summarizespredecessor's understanding,we believe that there are three usages of the Yan(言)in the Book of Poetry,: Serves as the first person pronoun;Serves as the conjunction;Serves as the adverb suffix.
