Abstract

In this essay the author generalized the relationship between Zhou Zuoren and the world literature from three aspects. As a great writer, Zhou Zuoren strongly approved of the idea that literature should have a world feature. As a translator he has produced many kinds of translations on literal works and cultural products of many nations. Apart from these he had also made a comparative study between Chinese culture and world culture. All these has greatly contributed to the progress of modern literature.
